Festival of Sharing: December 9

EdVenture will share the symbols, traditions and customs that enrich this season of light for so many families. Join in to learn about holidays celebrated around the world.

An Evening with Sensitive Santa: December 16 (5 pm – 7 pm)

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and sensory processing differences are invited for a sensory-friendly time with Santa. This program offers families with children who have developmental disabilities the chance to have photos taken with Santa in a calm, less intimidating environment. This area will be sensory friendly, with lower lighting and quieter surroundings. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the museum in a safe and accepting environment and enjoy interactive, hands-on activities.

Literacy Alive: Presented twice daily during the Gingerbread Jamboree

Literacy comes to life as visitors from the North Pole such as Snowman, Gingerbread Man, and Santa’s elves share seasonal stories with museum guests.

New Year’s Eve @ Noon: December 31 (9 am – 2 pm)

EdVenture is the place to be on New Year’s Eve. Guests can watch the big ball drop and count down to noon and then celebrate the new year with a juice box toast.
