Airport High School will hold its 25th annual fundraiser for Camp Kemo starting this Saturday, March 2 through March 9
Students raise much of the money in small amounts; pay $5 to throw a pie in a teacher’s face; enter a lunch-time car show for $7 ($3 to watch); play in an Ultimate Nerf War for $5; and much more.
Last year, students raised more than $56,000 to send kids with cancer or blood disorders to Camp Kemo. This year, the goal is $60,000. Several Airport students go spend a day at the camp with kids as well.
