Christmas in Cayce Festivities Offer Three Days of Holiday Fun

CAYCE, SC – The City of Cayce is bringing the holiday spirit to life with its annual Christmas in Cayce festivities, offering three unique events from December 5-7. Each celebration highlights the magic of the season with something special for all ages.

December 5: Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Time: 6 PM
Location: Cayce City Hall Grounds

The holiday cheer begins with the lighting of Cayce’s 22-foot Christmas tree, surrounded by more than 35,000 twinkling lights. Enjoy performances from the Busbee Creative Arts Academy band, chorus, and dancers. Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to support Cayce Cares, benefiting God’s Helping Hands, the Scooter Scott Project, and local families in need. Can’t attend? December 6: Carols Along the Riverwalk

Time: 6 PM – 8 PM
Location: Cayce Riverwalk (N Avenue Entrance)

Stroll along the Cayce Riverwalk with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the soothing sounds of holiday carols. Local church choirs and musicians will perform along the first half-mile of the Riverwalk during this reverse caroling event. Parking is available at Brookland-Cayce High School, with free trolley rides provided to and from the Riverwalk entrance.


December 7: Christmas Traditions: Olde & New

Time: 6 PM – 9 PM
Location: Cayce Historical Museum, 1800 12th Street

Experience the charm of Christmas past and present at the Cayce Historical Museum. Each room will be adorned with festive decorations spanning from the 18th century to today. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, a holiday market, light refreshments, and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Docents in period attire will add a touch of history to the event.
