As Lexington Two’s members of the Class of 2023 prepared for graduation ceremonies they wrapped up their school year with an annual tradition – returning to their elementary and middle schools, in cap and gown, to walk the halls a final time.
Airport held its Senior Walks last week, while Brookland-Cayce visited its feeder schools Tuesday. The younger students fill the school halls and cheer as the soon-to-be-graduates pass. Nearly 500 students will graduate from Lexington Two this year. Airport’s commencement was May 31, and Brookland-Cayce’s was June 1.
