Meadow Glen principal to retire

Lexington County School District One Superintendent Greg Little, Ed.D., has announced Cheryl H. Fralick, principal of Meadow Glen Elementary School, plans to retire effective July 1, 2019.

“Mrs. Fralick dedicated herself to the service of students, their parents and her employees,” Little said. “She consistently worked to create a high-performance learning environment. They knew she had high expectations of them. But, most of all, they knew she loved them.”

Fralick became principal of Midway Elementary in 2005 and principal of Meadow Glen Elementary in 2011.

She has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Carolina, and is actively involved in her church, Trinity Baptist, as well as professional and educational organizations.
