West Columbia, SC – The 8th Annual West Columbia Beautification Foundation’s Taste on the River event was a resounding success, celebrating the vibrant food scene in the Midlands while supporting local beautification projects. Held at Stone River on June 11, the event raised an impressive $37,449.25.
“We are very excited with the success of this year’s event,” said West Columbia Beautification Foundation Chairperson Kathy Whetzel. “We had new faces, premier restaurants, and fantastic auction items, along with incredible volunteer support. Keep an eye out for all the plantings funded by the proceeds.”

All proceeds from the event will benefit the West Columbia Beautification Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the community’s aesthetic appeal.
