The Brookland-Cayce soccer teams were involved in a doubleheader with Swansea last Thursday at Lower Richland High School with post-season ramifications.

A victory for the girls would clinch third place, while the Region 5-3A title would be for the taking for the boys.

Both matches found themselves tied at 1-1 through regulation and two 5-minute overtimes. They were ultimately decided by penalty kicks with the girls winning 2-0, while the Bearcats fell 4-1.
