Lexington One Educational Foundation Welcomes six new board members

The Lexington One Educational Foundation recently welcomed seven new members to its board of directors: Michael L. Boone, Harriet Poe Coker, Angela C. Douda, Kim Shealy Jeffcoat, LaMyron Jenkins, Dani G. Stroud and Rebecca West.

• Michael L. Boone is an engineer with Westinghouse Electric.

• Harriet Poe Coker is owner and president of Chisolm Consulting & Design.

• Angela C. Douda is a production underwriter with Harford Mutual Insurance.

• Kim Shealy Jeffcoat is the chief operating officer with The Jeffcoat Law Firm.

• LaMyron Jenkins is the senior regional sales manager/business developer for Southeastern Paper Group.

• Dani G. Stroud is the lead science teacher and department chair at Gilbert High School and is the Lexington District One Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year.

• Rebecca West is an attorney and managing partner with Harling and West, LLC.

Each board member will serve a three-year term with the exception of the Lexington District One Teacher of the Year, who serves for one year. Board members help lead the Educational Foundation’s charitable endeavors in serving and supporting Lexington District One.

“We are excited to welcome each of these individuals to the Educational Foundation’s board,” said Foundation Executive Director Julie Anderson Washburn. “Each new member brings a different perspective to the board, but all share a commitment to and passion for Lexington School District One.”
