The S.C. High School League is undergoing the first of its “dead periods” for athletics this summer.
As of Monday, no sporting activities are scheduled to take place through Friday.
In the meantime, Lexington County School District Two high schools are holding registration for summer camps in the following sports:
AIRPORT
BASKETBALL – July 11-13 (ages eight and up for $60) from 1-3 p.m.
CHEER CAMP – July 20-22 from 9 a.m. to noon ($85 per camper)
DANCE – July 13-16 (ages six to 17)
FOOTBALL – July 23 (ages 6-12 for $20 per camper) 7-9 p.m.
BROOKLAND-CAYCE
BASEBALL – July 7-9 (ages six to 12) from 9 a.m. to noon
FOOTBALL – July 20-21 (9 a.m. to noon for $30 per camper)
CHEER – July 15-17 ($75 per camper)
