This past Saturday saw the Midlands Striper Club hold its monthly tournament on Clarks Hill at Lake Strom Thurmond. A total of 12 teams hauling in 23 fish participated at the event. The team of Knot Right came away with both the highest total (27.86 pounds) and the Big Fish with a catch of 19.22 pounds. The team of Well Hung finished in second place, followed by Rocky Bottom. The next Midlands Striper Club returns to Lake Murray on Sept. 16 for a Ladies’ tournament at Dreher Island.
