Steel Hands Brewery honored by CWC Chamber

The Greater CWC Chamber of Commerce has named Steel Hands Brewery its Business of the Quarter.
Business of the Quarter is sponsored by Lexington Medical Center and is administered through the Chamber Small Business Advisory Committee.

Each Quarter, the Committee reviews submissions of businesses that have shown great partnership and business professionalism throughout the community, ~ exhibiting the highest of standards, while also mirroring the mission of the Greater CWC Chamber of Commerce.

Steel Hands has dedicated themselves to quality, expertise, commitment and community. They officially opened in December of 2018, taking a gamble, they built upon 4 acres of land in an area that many didn’t understand why. The leadership had vision and an unprecedented sense of faith as they firmly planted their footprint along a road where only a steel plant existed – and are now becoming the largest production brewery in the midlands.

Once opening the doors they recognized a flow of customers that became their constant. The leadership thought outside the box to make it easy for a Columbia crowd to be bussed to their establishment. As time went by, their product became a staple in grocery stores and restaurants. They did not allow COVID to stop them getting their product to the user, as they opened the sliding window and provided sales.

Steel Hands Brewery also hosts events for non-profits, arts and sports programs and most recently “Steel Paws” to raise funds for the Law Enforcement K-9 programs – all to support needy projects and people in their community.
