Tim James Appointed to Carolinas Association of Chamber Executives Board of Directors

Tim James, President and CEO of the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Programs, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE). The announcement was made during the CACCE’s annual conference in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

James will serve a three-year term, working alongside chamber leaders from across South and North Carolina. His appointment follows a successful one-year term, which began after the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber received the prestigious Chamber of the Year award last October.

Reflecting on his new role, James shared, “Being involved with peer professionals over the last year has helped our Chamber prosper. Our community benefits greatly from the knowledge and expertise gained through this collaboration.”

Chamber Chair Lindsey Miles expressed strong support for James’ appointment. “Our Chamber Board unanimously backed Tim’s position with CACCE. His networking with executives from both states provides invaluable insights and contributes to shaping the future of chambers in the Carolinas.”

During the conference, James also had the honor of presenting the Chamber of the Year award to two South Carolina chambers: York County and Hilton Head.

James’ continued leadership and involvement with CACCE are expected to further enhance the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber’s growth and impact.
