Have questions about the health and management of trees in your landscape or around your business? Plan to attend the Urban Tree Care Workshop hosted by the Lexington Soil and Water Conservation District and the Lexington County Clemson Extension Service to find the answers to you questions and gain knowledge to keep your trees healthy.
The workshop will be held August 27 from 1 pm until 3:30 pm in the Lexington County Auxiliary Building, 605 W Main St Lexington.
Jimmy Walters, Certified Arborist, SC Registered Forester and President of the Southern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, will discuss species selection, proper planting, and pruning basics, tree health and pest management for improved urban tree care.
This workshop has been approved for 2 hours Category 1 Society of American Foresters CFE credits. International Society of Arboriculture CEU credits have been applied for.
The cost of the Urban Tree Care Workshop is $15 by August 23 and $20 after.
