American Legion West Columbia Post 79 held its annual scholarship banquet. A total of nine players – Preston Coggins, Robert McMillan, Josh Raines, London Spires, Peyton Starkey, Brent Stukes, Mason Turner, Corbin Wright and Connor – were presented scholarships from funds raised by Post 79. In addition, Raines was given the Sportsmanship Award, Wright the Wesley Camp MVP Award and Wood received a $4,000 scholarship from the state American Legion office.
Team equipment manager Aiden Jeffcoat also received a state scholarship. Also pictured are head coach Dargan Lybrand and assistant coach Jacob Jeffcoat.
