Gray Collegiate advanced to the third round of the Class 4A playoffs following a 49-28 win over Hartsville.
Freshman quarterback Xavier Wright went 16-28 passing for 302 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Trevon Williamson rushed for 119 yards and three scores and linebacker Michael Boulware had a team-high 25 tackles.
Gray Collegiate trailed 21-15 in the second quarter before scoring 34 unanswered points. This was the ninth consecutive win for the War Eagles (10-2), who travel to Hilton Head Island Friday.
