Holiday Lights open November 24

Families and friends can fill up their cars for a festive ride through a wonderland of colorful light displays and animated scenes during Holiday Lights on the River.

Beginning November 24 and running nightly through December 31, see colorful lights, dancing trees, and much more as Saluda Shoals Park is transformed for the holidays by millions of sparkling lights. Holiday Lights on the River, the Midland’s largest Drive-Through Light Show attracts more than 90,000 visitors each year.

Guest will enter the lights at 6071 St. Andrews Road and exit the park at Bush River Road following a 2.5-mile route along a curved road featuring more than a million lights and hundreds of animated displays and themed areas.

Many traditional favorites return to this year’s light show including the Dazzling Dancing Forest – a grove of dancing woodland trees synchronized to classical and whimsical music, the 12 days of Christmas, Lake Murray Country and the patriotic area.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no additional activities at Holiday Lights this year with the exception of the laser light show and walking trail to the wetland.

Opening to the public on November 24, Holiday Lights on the River will run every night through December 31 from 6 pm until 10 pm Admission is $20 per car, $40 per 12+-passenger van, trucks with trailers, and limos, and $60 per bus.
