Lexington Two is now taking nominations for its second class of Fine Arts Hall of Fame inductees.
The Hall of Fame honors individuals and groups who have shown excellence in art, music, theatre, dance, or creative writing. Eligible nominees include:
- Graduates of Airport High or Brookland-Cayce High (at least five years post-graduation)
- Former Lexington Two educators who significantly contributed to the arts
- Community members who have given time and resources to advance the arts in Lexington Two
Nominees must meet at least three criteria, such as outstanding talent, significant career achievements, extraordinary contributions to the district’s arts programs, or outstanding character.
A panel will select three inductees, who will be honored at a reception on October 16. Nominations are due by August 15 at https://forms.gle/Qz2KLjjTEmi538Ph9.
Last year’s inaugural inductees were William E. Ackerman, Dr. Deborah Smith Hoffman, Vicki Stilwell Horne, Larry Francis Lebby, Eva Pilgrim, and Keith Williams. A display at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center honors Hall of Fame members year-round.
