Chief Terrence Green is excited to announce the 5th Annual Lexington Police Department Foundation Golf Tournament at the Golden Hills Golf & Country Club on Monday, April 10, 2023. The purpose of the golf tournament is to provide funding for the Lexington Police Department Foundation, which is used within our agency to support our officers and to further our community-focused programs.
As the golf tournament approaches, team entries are being accepted and the Lexington Police Department is seeking local corporate sponsorships. Monetary donations are welcome and there are also opportunities for businesses to donate items for player gift bags and raffle prizes.
A maximum of twenty-five four-player teams will be allowed at this event. The cost for team entry is $300 for four players and includes a catered breakfast and lunch, raffle prizes, and several on-course challenges with prizes. Tournament winners will receive individual trophies and prizes. Mulligan packages will be offered at tournament sign-in.
Corporate sponsorships are available at five levels ranging from $250 to $2,500 and include business signs on the golf course and online promotions. Several sponsorship levels also include a four-player team or multiple teams.
Thank you to Crystal Wallace of RE/MAX at the Lake for being our title sponsor this year with a $5,000 donation to the Lexington Police Department Foundation.
There are opportunities for corporate sponsors to be on the course, and in years past, we’ve been impressed with some tent themes, food, and drinks. We are hopeful that all on-course sponsors will plan something creative and we will be incentivizing this by offering a grand prize for the best course tent where the winning business will receive complimentary sponsorships at the three largest events planned by the Lexington Police Department. These include National Night Out in August 2023, the LPD Foundation Fall Festival in October 2023, and the 2024 LPD Foundation Golf Tournament.
Golden Hills Golf & Country Club at 100 Scotland Drive in Lexington, South Carolina.
