Meeting Street Music Fest Returns to West Columbia with Two Days of Free Entertainment
West Columbia is bringing back the popular Meeting Street Music Fest on September 6-7, offering two days of live music, food, and fun. The festival will feature multiple genres of music and plenty of activities for all ages, with free entry for all attendees.
Friday, September 6: The festival kicks off from 6 to 9 p.m. at the West Columbia Amphitheater (109 Alexander Road). Attendees can enjoy food trucks and purchase beer and wine while listening to bluegrass band Nu-Blu.
Saturday, September 7: The festivities continue from 3 to 8 p.m. on Meeting Street, with performances on multiple stages. Headlining the event is the legendary band War, performing from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Other acts include Who’s Bad, a Michael Jackson tribute band, and local favorites like Seventy Six and Sunny, George Fetner and the Strays, and Nick Chandler and Delivered.
Additional Activities: In addition to the music, the festival offers an artisan market, pet zone, food trucks, college football viewing zones, a retro gaming area, dance lessons, live chalk art demonstrations, and more. There will also be free water, cooling stations, restrooms, and convenient parking options with trolley services and designated Uber/Lyft pick-up spots.
