Goalkeeper Sophie Hoffman and midfielder J.J. Evans of Gray Collegiate Academy closed their high school soccer careers on a positive note.
Both seniors were on the South teams at the North-South All-Star Games at T.L. Hanna High School.
The girls match ended in a scoreless tie after 80 minutes. Hoffman and North goalkeeper Maren Rybert of Greenville were named MVP for their respective teams.

Layne Powers of Brookland-Cayce and Hannah Riddle of River Bluff were also on the South Roster.
The South boys defeated the North 2-0.
Up next is the Clash of the Carolinas this Saturday at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville, NC.
River Bluff girls soccer head coach K.C. Dunbaker will co-coach the South Carolina roster that will include Lady Gator Julia Salo in the 10 a.m. match. The boys match will follow at noon with Gray Collegiate midfielder Noah Mitchell on the South Carolina roster.
