Fetch! Pet Care, America’s a franchise provider of professional dog walking and in-home pet sitting services, is bringing experienced walkers and sitters to Columbia.
Columbia resident Meredith Pope launched Fetch! Pet Care in August to service pet owners in Columbia, Chapin, Dentsvile, Rosewood and nearby communities. With a focus on service and reliable care, Pope offers a range of services for furry, feathered and scaly family members, including puppy check-ins, private dog walking, pet sitting, overnight care and transportation.
“Our team understands and responds to the many challenges that can come with finding a reliable dog walker or pet sitter,” said Pope. “As animal lovers, we know why people consider their pets as part of the family, and we appreciate being trusted with the responsibility of caring for these furry family members.”
Pope has a connection to and knowledge of the community she serves. As a way to give back and also indulge her love of animals, Pope volunteers at the Fairfield County Animal Shelter and SQ Rescue – SBT. She has adopted two German Shepherd mixes from SQ Rescue. Also, with a big, welcoming heart, Pope has fostered nearly 50 dogs throughout the years.
Pope hand-picks and thoroughly trains each member of her team. All dog walkers and pet sitters are bonded, insured and background checked and have specialized skills in caring for dogs, cats, birds and other small, caged animals. To establish a relationship between the pet care provider and pet owner and to ensure a good fit for all, Fetch! offers a free consultation to every prospective client.
Clients are encouraged to use the company’s mobile app for scheduling and communicating with team members. The app includes features such as GPS tracking to enable clients to locate their animal during a walk and a journal for the sitter’s notes, photos and more.
For a free consultation call with a member of the Fetch! Pet Care Columbia team, call 803-746-7121 or email [email protected].
