WEST COLUMBIA – South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond has announced a free, in-person Notary Public Seminar will be held on Monday, August 11, at Midlands Technical College’s Airport Campus.
The seminar will take place in the Academic Center Auditorium, Room 116, located at 1260 Lexington Drive in West Columbia. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the seminar will begin promptly at 6 p.m., wrapping up by 7:30 p.m.
This seminar is open to all current South Carolina notaries and those interested in becoming one. It will provide a comprehensive overview of notary duties, updates to state law, and guidance on electronic notarization.
