Coming off its most successful season in school history, Northside Christian will be the first Lexington County team to play its season-opener.
The Crusaders will travel to Greenwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday. They defeated the Hawks 41-14 last year enroute to a school-record 10-2 record and semifinal appearance in the SCISA Class 3A playoffs.
Head coach Dean Howell looks to replace a senior-laden team led by running back Sam Burks. Northside Christian also saw running back/defensive back J.R. Kinard transfer to Chapin.
