Brookland-Cayce guard A.J. Edwards will get to play a final high school basketball game on his home court.
Edwards was selected to play in Saturday’s S.C. Basketball Coaches Association’s annual North/South All-Star game. He will play for the South team with his head coach Robert Wells serving as an assistant.
Guards Yasir Cromer of River Bluff and Malachi Cooper of Class 5A Division I champion Ridge View are also on the 12-player roster. The North roster will have Dutch Fork guard Bryson Taylor.
The boys game takes place at 2:45 p.m., preceded by the 1 p.m. girls game. Shaelyn Hayes of White Knoll and Lauren Crosland of Spring Valley were selected to the South team.
