Flight Deck to support local heroes

The 9/11 Remembrance Foundation of South Carolina has announced a new initiative with Flight Deck Restaurant in Lexington.

The initiative is designed to offer Flight Deck patrons the opportunity to support veterans, military service members, first responders and their families.

“I have tremendous respect for those who serve our communities and country,” said Ted Stambolitis, Owner/Operator of the Flight Deck. “I am very passionate about helping the homeless veterans and wanted to give back. Working with the 9/11 Remembrance Foundation, we are able to support this cause and involve our patrons.”

Beginning May 24, patrons of the Flight Deck can add a $1, $2, or $3 donation to the foundation on their restaurant check and the Flight Deck will match the donations every Tuesday. All of the funds donated will go towards the 9/11 Remembrance Foundation programs, which will support the needs of homeless veterans and local first responders.

“We are extremely pleased to join this partnership with Flight Deck for the benefit of our local heroes who have given so much,” said Dan Hennigan, Founder and Chair of 9/11 Remembrance Foundation of South Carolina. “Creating the awareness of critical needs for those who serve and have served, and inviting others to share in the support goes a long way to helping us accomplish our goal.”

The Flight Deck Restaurant located at 109 Old Chapin Road in Lexington.
