Keep the Midlands Beautiful will be holding its annual Grinding of the Greens Christmas Tree Recycling December 26 – January 9.
Drop-off locations are in Lexington and Richland Counties.

Free mulch from the recycled Christmas trees will be available to the public January 9 from 8:30 am until the mulch runs out at Seven Oaks Park – 200 Leisure Lane, Columbia; and the Richland County Tennis Center at 7500 Parklane Road, Columbia.
Grinding is provided by Alpine Tree Service.
Remember to remove the tree from its stand. Remove all ornaments, lights, garlands, wires, strings, tags or ties. Drop off trees only – no wreaths or other greenery will be accepted.
