The 13th Annual Tartan Day South Highland Games & Celtic Festival returns Thursday through Sunday, April 3–6, 2025, celebrating over a decade of Celtic pride in the Midlands!
Tartan Day South honors the vibrant heritage of Scotland, Ireland, and England, bringing the sights, sounds, and traditions of the Celtic nations to life. The main event takes place on Saturday at the Historic Columbia Speedway in Cayce, with additional free and ticketed events held in West Columbia, Cayce, and Lexington throughout the weekend.
The festival features traditional Highland athletics, pipe bands, Celtic music and dance, herding dog demonstrations, food, vendors, and activities for all ages.
Hosted to benefit the River Alliance, Tartan Day South helps protect and promote access to the region’s natural treasures—the Broad, Saluda, and Congaree Rivers—while connecting the community through culture and fun.
