LEXINGTON, S.C. — Solid Structures has completed construction on the new Lexington County Coroner’s Office at Red Bank Crossing, providing expanded space and modern facilities to better serve the county’s growing population.
Located at 1072 South Lake Drive in Lexington, the renovated facility includes administrative offices, deputy coroner workspaces, family meeting rooms, evidence-related areas, an autopsy laboratory and specialized spaces designed to support the office’s operations.
The relocation represents a significant investment in Lexington County’s public safety infrastructure, providing a purpose-built environment for death investigations, family services and collaboration with other public agencies.
“It has been a pleasure working with Margaret Fisher and the rest of the folks with Lexington County on the renovation of the Lexington Corners facility, especially knowing the critical role that it plays in our county,” said Sandi Brazell, president and owner of Solid Structures.
The renovation involved extensive upgrades to an existing building, including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and interior improvements. Solid Structures partnered with Lexington County, Boomerang Design and engineering consultants to complete the project.
“My staff and I are so excited to move into this beautiful and highly functional new facility,” said Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher. “It will provide much-needed workspace and storage, along with room for future growth as Lexington County continues to grow. The location is ideal and convenient, and with the addition of a new autopsy suite and anthropology suite, our office will be state-of-the-art. We could not be more pleased or more thankful for the facility Solid Structures has transformed into what we consider one of the finest coroner’s offices in the state.”
