Wilson calls for resignation of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley

Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement:

“I sadly need to amend my media statement yesterday calling for Joe Biden to resign for endangering American families, leaving them vulnerable to terrorist attacks. I had purposefully not called for the firing the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley because I could not imagine he would betray citizens or military by leaving them behind to be murdered. He abandoned Bagram Airbase and military equipment which will lead to countless deaths of Americans.

“With his obsequious and disgusting media meltdown today calling for Taliban collaboration, Mark Milley should be fired immediately for the sake of protecting American families.

“As a 31-year veteran and the grateful father of four sons serve in Iraq, Egypt, the Southern Border, and Afghanistan, Mark Milley stabbed me in the heart, he cannot be trusted to not desert our military allies. Milley should be ashamed and apologize to all military families. With a Biden adopting the appeasement of Neville Chamberlain which led to war, we now have a disgraced military officer adopting the attributes of Benedict Arnold. Milley can still resign before being fired.

“When the attacks move from abroad to American families at home, blood will be on Milley’s hands. The academic or corporate enrichments promised him will be blood money.”
