State Museum Hosts Accessibility Morning This Saturday (Page 10)

The South Carolina State Museum will host an Accessibility Morning this Saturday, November 8, from 9–11 a.m.

Accessibility Morning offers a quieter, sensory-friendly experience designed for children, teens, young adults and adults who are neurodiverse or who have disabilities. Guests may participate in optional adapted activities or explore the museum’s galleries at their own pace.

The morning will include a storybook meet-and-greet with Madeline, with ASL interpretation, a special sensory planetarium show, and additional interactive opportunities tailored for sensory needs.

The American Sign Language interpreter is sponsored by Colonial Life.

For more information or to register, visit the museum’s website at scmuseum.org/events/accessibility-morning-madeline.
