COLUMBIA, SC – Surrounded by proud families, friends, and fellow first responders, more than 50 members of the Columbia-Richland Fire Department (CRFD) were honored for their recent promotions during a special ceremony held May 21 at CRFD headquarters.
Fire Chief Aubrey D. Jenkins led the event, presenting new badges to:
22 senior firefighters
17 engineers
7 fire captains
3 battalion chiefs
2 divisional chiefs
In addition, the department recognized its newly appointed chief of training, chief of fire planning and compliance, and three deputy fire marshals.
