As we age, we all experience tiers of deterioration in various ways, such as hearing, walking, or memory loss. When we realize that we have begun forgetting important things more frequently, we and those around us may become concerned.
We have learned that many degenerative diseases may be genetic as well, and this is when we sit up and pay attention to what Research has discovered what helps slow down certain types of progression.
Here is what has been learned about memory loss from Research. For those interested in exactly how cognitive decline develops due to the shrinkage of specific areas within the brain. You can read more by searching this subject online at Science Direct. However, in this space and time, I will get right to the point in mentioning that a couple of changes we can make are beneficial.
Some research has shown how remaining physically and mentally active through challenging activities, and mental activities that stimulate the brain, helps maintain our health into our 80s. It preserves our capacity and helps to prevent decline. This has been noted in findings showing how some individuals older than the age of 80 years, who are physically and mentally more active than many seniors of 65 and over living more sedentary lives, show that they are not experiencing any cognitive decline.
There are a couple of Supplements that may also provide some benefit, and we will look at them now.
Caution: When purchasing any Supplement, we need to ensure that they are manufactured only in the United States, and evaluated by third parties (independently), meet US Standards, and contain no fillers.
Supplements that may be beneficial, containing Huperzine A, Choline Bitartrate DHA.
